Have 1 sister and 2 brothers. Love my two nieces to bits. Work in training and development. Also lecture part-time at a couple of colleges.
About us (Shawn and Karmini)
We first met in Pittsburg, Kansas. Dated for a while, went our separate ways and got back together again 11 years later! We got married in Kuala Lumpur in July 2004. Lived in Kansas for 2 years before moving to Malaysia. We now live in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. Our dog Rio is thoroughly spoiled by us (no apologies!) and we are now expecting our first child (due in Dec 2009)
Mixed marriage issues? Hrmm....not really, except for some cultural differences. Funny stuff like pronunciation of certain words or traditional beliefs, etc sometimes come up, but hasn't really affected us badly so far. He can't understand why iced water is bad when sick and she can't always see when big city stuff upsets him! Heh..:)
Having the same religion is far more important! We are Christians and our faith is an integral part of our lives.
